I kinda love using artists loft sketchbooks, even tho it's not mix Media friendly i still use some of my alcohol markers in there despite the back Pages bleeding through, but i do still feel imitated by it because of how many pages they're are. 😅

I love the way you draw animals! the way u style them and color them in (especially birds) is there a chance u would draw owls in your style? i would love to see how they turn out!

For me it's the other way round, when I draw something nice that I'm proud of, I'm scared that people think all of my art looks that good but I won't be able to replicate this level and quality of art again so I disappoint those people and let them down with worse quality art. That's why I sometimes don't like/am scared when posting the art that I'm proud of online. ^^"

I agree on wanting to draw just on one sketchbook, it also feels like a diary to me!! Been filling one sketchbook at a time since mid 2017 and I can’t go back to just having multiple unfinished sketchbooks everywhere 😅😅 Not every page has to look pretty which is hard to accept even today :’D ❤ love love how these sketches look!!

I love that you were drawing dogs because my dog is cuddling right next to me as we both watch this video <3 it's really interesting. that you ended up not liking the dog portrait page and yet it was my favorite one from the video idk it made me think of that phrase "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" I think that as artists it specifically applies a lot because I also find myself not liking my art somedays and then I realize that maybe someone out there will find it pretty, idk it was an interesting thought that I wanted to share since I really love your art and find it very inspiring<3

I’m a perfectionist when it comes to art and I feel like that keeps me from even drawing in my sketchbook at all. Your videos always give me motivation and help me realize that I can loosen up and not all my drawings have to be perfect :)

I draw everyday for at least 30 minutes. It's my little escape, as well as a hobby I want to get better at. I use mainly ballpoint pens, gel pens, and Crayola markers (especially the Super Tips) 😊

I loved watching this video-the art (I’ve been getting into watercolors) and the topic. I’ve had my channel for a little over a year now, and it’s been very slow, but I finally had a video do better this week. It’s still only at 300 views, but for me that’s a lot for a long form video. It can definitely be a pain to edit and record the voiceovers and stuff, and not that many people see it in the grand scheme of things. But I enjoy sharing my art, and I appreciate the people who enjoy it. Idk, that was a long thing, but yeah, I really enjoyed this video and hearing a big creator’s thoughts.💜

Something a lot of artists need to remember (myself included) is that just because someone else has illustrated something in a particular style before does not mean that you should put yourself down for doing/wanting to do a similar thing. The important part to remember is that if its something you want to do, you should do it. After all creating art should be enjoyable and fun, not an activity with self-inflicted arbitrary constraints you feel like you "should do".

I've been trying to make myself continue drawing for an art contest prompt, and I lose steam pretty quickly, so I figured I should watch some helpful art videos first. This video popped up (while I was distracted scrolling through youtube). This is very helpful, thank you for reminding me that I don't have to feel pressured to make things perfect or be afraid to try something new!
